| One down, 8 to go
So over the break I went to a lovely wedding of two of my friends from Hendrix/UAMS (see picture below). It was wonderful . . . the wedding, the reception, everything! That just leaves 8 more weddings to go to by the end of the summer (Heather/Adam, Rachel/David, Michelle/Brad, Beth/Tim, Charla/Michael, Margie/Jason, and at least 2 of Tony's friends). With everyone getting engaged and married it's very exciting! So congrats everyone and good luck with all of the planning!
**EDIT** I can't wait to plan my own wedding

| So I went to Atlanta this weekend for the SEC Championship game. It was soooooo much fun, except for the whole losing part. Maybe I'll post some pictures later, but if you have Facebook you can see some pictures that Julie posted. We (me, Tony, Matt, Luke, and Alex) stayed at her apartment because she's going to school in Atlanta now. Anyway, when we were getting back into the car after the game there were arkansas fans getting in the car next to us. One of them handed me this big envelope and said "here, take this . . . it's what could have been, trust me." So after we got in the car, I opened the envelope and it was a red t-shirt that said 2006 SEC Champions Arkansas Razorbacks. It wasn't the official shirt, but one these guys had made. Anyway, the guy was so bummed, it was sad. I wish we would have won one of the last 2 games, but oh well. Capital One bowl here we come. Anyway, it was lots of fun! Now I must study for the test I have tomorrow and the test I have Friday. :)

| Yea for Thanksgiving break. . . boo for my Gross Anatomy exam that stands between me and my break!!! I can't wait for this test to be over so I can pack and head to Iowa. And guess what? Tony's going with me and my family up to Iowa :) It will be interesting to say the least, but it means lots of time to spend with him -- which has been pretty limited lately. And I'll get to spend time with my nephews too, even though they live in Conway I'll see them more up there than I have in a while so that's exciting too!
I really do like learning this stuff, but I hate having to take marathon tests over the material. Our tests are two-parters that go from 1pm to 5:30pm. Half the battle is just keeping your mind going for so long (2 hours written, 2 hours practical). They really are training us to be doctors, gotta be able to be sharp for long periods of time.
In other news, Tony and I (and 3 of his friends) are going to the SEC championship game in the ATL on Dec. 2!!! It's going to be so much fun, I can't wait! So what if I have 2 tests the next week, I'll study. . . sometime. Yea for road trips, friends, and football. We're staying with Julie at her apartment near Emory, I'm sure we'll drive her crazy, but it will be fun too.
Anyway - back the the GI tract. Hope everyone has a good week and happy Thanksgiving!

| I've spent all day in front of the computer. . . well since I got out of lab at like 4:30. I've gotten nothing accomplished except for reading tomorrow's lab. I really need to study more, but I'm having trouble getting motivated. Congrats to Beth & Tim on the engagement!!! I'm going to Fayetteville this weekend for the Hogs game though (I think). That's exciting too. School is going alright, I just am kind of in an anti-studying slump. What else to say?
The weather is going to be pretty nice this week, but I was starting to enjoy the late fall temperatures. No rain in the forecast for the game Sat, that's nice. Oh, and I don't have classes Friday, so that's super nice.
Thanksgiving is coming up, and that means 3 things: time with family, goooood food (and lots of it), and shopping! I'm one of those crazy people that gets up at 5a.m. the day after Thanksgiving to go shopping, yes, I know it's crazy, but it's just one of those things.
Have a good week everyone!
